PromptStudio – AI Prompt Organizer (“PromptStudio”, “the Extension”) is a Google Chrome extension that helps users save, organize, search, copy, and insert reusable AI prompts into supported AI assistants.
PromptStudio is designed with a privacy-first approach. Your prompts are stored locally on your device, and we do not collect or sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
PromptStudio does not collect or transmit personal information.
The extension does not collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Passwords
- Financial information
- Health information
- Authentication credentials
- Location information
- Browsing history
- Analytics data
- Advertising identifiers
Prompt Data
PromptStudio stores only the prompt information that you choose to create or save, including:
- Prompt titles
- Prompt content
- Categories
- Tags
- Favorites
- User settings
This information is stored locally using Chrome Storage and remains on your device unless you choose to export it.
Website Content
PromptStudio accesses webpage content only when you explicitly use one of its features, including:
- Saving selected text as a prompt.
- Inserting a saved prompt into a supported AI website.
The extension does not continuously monitor webpages or collect browsing history.
Local Storage
All prompt data and settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome Storage.
No prompt data is uploaded to external servers.
Data Sharing
PromptStudio does not sell, rent, share, or transfer your data to third parties.
Analytics
PromptStudio does not use:
- Analytics services
- Tracking technologies
- Telemetry
- Advertising SDKs
- Crash reporting services
Remote Code
PromptStudio does not download or execute remote JavaScript, WebAssembly, or any other executable code.
All application code is packaged with the extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store.
Permissions
PromptStudio requests only the permissions necessary to provide its core functionality:
- storage – Store prompts and settings locally.
- activeTab – Interact with the current tab when requested by the user.
- sidePanel – Display the prompt library.
- contextMenus – Save selected text as a prompt.
- clipboardWrite – Copy prompts to the clipboard.
- scripting – Insert prompts into supported AI websites after user action.
These permissions are used solely to provide the extension’s advertised features.
Data Security
Because PromptStudio stores data locally on your device, you remain in control of your prompt library.
You can delete or export your data at any time.
Children’s Privacy
PromptStudio is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
